Next Gateway Division Monthly Meeting is July 20, 2009

The Gateway Division NMRA meeting for July 20, 2009 will be an operating session at the St. Charles Model RR Club. There will be no regular business meeting. We will meet at the Club at 7:00 pm and begin setting up trains to run/operate with the DCC-equipped locos we need to bring.
The Club layout features 500 ft of operating mainline and a separate staging yard. There are approximately 200 pieces of rolling stock on the layout. Most of the layout is finished scenery. There are multiple industries along the line supplying carloads of freight and destinations, such as a quarry, power plant, and coal mine. The layout operates using a Digitrax Super Chief DCC system. Sound and non-sound locos alike are welcomed. Click the link for more details and driving instructions. Guests are always welcome.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/GatewayNMRA/~4/RRFDJvh07vU" height="1" width="1"/>

A primer for model railroad operations. Modelers enjoy visiting and running on model railroads that are realistic in appearance and operated in a realistic manner.
